1. Registered on Volunteer Management Information System (VMIS). 2. Demonstrated volunteerism: Should have served as an active member of Y-VIA for a minimum of 3 years. Have a record of active engagement in Y-VIA activities and community services. 3. Engaged in community activities /exhibited a high interest in community development activities; Certificate of Volunteerism (services carried out in the community, schools, etc as Y-VIA. Has high potential to be a champion /ambassador of global issues that confront young people in the 21st century irrespective of where they are placed. 4. Leadership Skills: Has held leadership positions in School or Community. 5. Contribution to Nation Building: Be actively involved in a viable design thinking project impacting social change. This can be done through the Innovate Bhutan and YDF P& D collaboration. 6. Co-curricular Activities: In addition to volunteer work, active participation in sports and other enrichment activities. 7. Recommendation letter: A highly recommended letter that is open to validation by the YDF is required along with other supporting recommendations with an official seal and signed by relevant legal authorities. 8 Academic: Should have a minimum of 75% aggregate (English + best four subjects). The applicant should have completed his/her class X (recent graduate). Progressive annual results of classes 7, 8, &9. 9. Age requirement: Applicant should be aged above 16 and below 18 during the time of admission. 10.Comes from an underprivileged/ economically disadvantaged background;
